Steve Jobs effect on technology
Everybody close your eyes imagine that cell phones don't exist. Imagine if you want to make a call you have to go to the phone on the wall that has a cord which only allows you to go about ten feet. Now imagine as your talking on your phone you see your dog doing a back flip and you know you have to get this on camera but the thing is your camera is upstairs and its out of film. You say goodbye to your friend, sprint upstairs, grab your camera and then spend several minutes putting film in it. Now you run outside and your dog decided to fall asleep in the summer sun. Or that your cramming for that english paper you totally forgot about over the weekend because you were at the beach the whole time, you have to hop in your car, drive over to the library, pick a topic, find a book on that topic, read some pages of that book, research some more online since you don't have a computer at home, type your paper and then print it out at this point it's Monday morning. Now open your eyes, this is how it was less than 20 years ago. Thanks to tech innovators life is much easier now, none of that nonsense...
The first i Phone came out in 2007; it was a major jump into the future of technology because Apple made the phone almost 2 times smaller and it seemed impossible to use because it was so high tech compared to what people were used to. Now and days if you saw someone with the first i Phone we would probably be very confused. Apple products have come so far... we're already at the i Phone 6 and they just keep coming out better and better. Steve Jobs is one of the biggest influences on why we have so much technology and how truly fantastic it really is. Nearly everyone has a i Phone or a high tech phone like an i Phone now and it's because of Steve Jobs. Don't you find it amazing that you can ask Siri where the nearest coffee shop is, or you can contact your friend by just a couple click, or that you can look up pretty much anything without having to go to the library or go on a desktop. Even 20 years ago all of these things were unthinkable. Steve Jobs also helped revolutionize laptop and computer. Computers were either absolutely ginormous or just didn't work that well until the Macbook. The Macbook is the computer that Steve Jobs created and it had everything. It was easy to use, smaller than most computers and it was a laptop which means that you could take it with you where ever you wanted to go which made this computer the perfect thing to have. He was a very busy man... cause honestly who wouldn't want him to work for them from The Walt Disney Company to his own business blowing up. He had much success from everything he made including i Pod, i Phone, i Pad, Apple Retail Store, i Tunes, and the App Store. Sadly in 2003 Steve Jobs was diagnosed with with a pancreas tumor, tragically he died of respiratory arrest related to the tumor on October 5, 2011. After his death many missed him and were pretty broken up about it he was referred to as "legendary", a "futurist" and a "visionary", and has been described as the "Father of the Digital Revolution," a "master of innovation," "the master of the digital age" and a "design perfectionist." As you can see people thought very highly of this extremely talented man.
